The Emergency Tourniquet - Windlass Style is designed to be an effective and cost-efficient way to provide circulation control in life-threatening scenarios. We developed the emergency tourniquet to allow single-handed application and automatic tightening with a rotating windlass. Once the desired compression is applied, the single strap locks in pressure. Once the scenario is controlled, the Emergency Tourniquet can be redeployed as determined by the user.

Indication For Use:
• Life-threatening Extremity Bleeding

Warning:
The Emergency Tourniquet is a safe and effective means to control life-threatening extremity bleeding when applied as directed. When the user is unsure or cannot take the additional time to determine the source of the bleeding, the Emergency Tourniquet can be effectively applied over clothing as high on the arm or leg as possible.

Caution:
The Emergency Tourniquet should be applied directly to the skin. DO NOT APPLY the Emergency Tourniquet over solid objects. As soon as possible, the Emergency Tourniquet should be re-applied directly over the injury in contact with the user’s skin.
